Wrestling is a winter sport. All athletes with a sincere commitment and in good health and academic standing are eligible to participate. Wrestlers must be cleared by the Athletic Department to participate but should come and watch a practice and learn if they are not cleared. Cleared wrestlers need workout clothes, running and wrestling shoes, and lots of water at practice. Team clothing, "Spiritwear" is available. In order to get cleared you need a physical, to be in good academic standing (GPA 2.0 or better in previous period) and you need to fill out the Athletic Packet forms, get your parent or guardian to sign the forms and hand them in to the Athletic Department in the media center by Monday, November 2, 2009. The Athletic Department will post a list of cleared athletes on the website where the forms are. You will also need to fill out an information sheet which can be found here.

| FALCON WRESTLING CLUB - SPRING SUMMER FALL |
The Falcon Wrestling Club helps introduce new wrestlers to the sport and supports experienced wrestlers by providing opportunities to wrestle, learn and compete in the off season. Wrestlers will learn techniques that will be required of them as they reach the varsity level while gaining important experience and conditioning. Falcon Wrestling Club is coached by USA Wrestling certified coaches.
The following is general information for the spring, summer and fall seasons and may change somewhat in the future.
Wrestlers of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. The cost of $125 includes FWC coaching at practices and local tournaments. Checks should be made payable to TP Foundation/Wrestling.

TOURNAMENT FEES AND MEMBERSHIP CARDS:
Tournament Fees: Each tournament costs $10 per wrestler to enter.
Membership Cards: All wrestlers must have one. They are easily available and can be purchased at Saturday tournaments or online at www.usawmembership.com for $40. Click on Join California USA Wrestling and follow the directions for an individual athlete's membership card.

SATURDAY TOURNAMENTS:
Please arrive at Torrey Pines High School (Del Mar Heights Road) and meet in the front parking lot. We will be leaving at 6:45 am. sharp!
